Mamoon
Yunus is an industry-honored CTO in Web Services-based
technologies for enterprises and is a pioneer in Web Services
Firewalls. He is the founder of Forum Systems, the leader in
Web Services Security. Prior to Forum Systems, Mr. Yunus was
a Global Systems Engineer for webMethods where he developed business
integration strategy and architecture plans for Global 2000 companies
such as GE, Prudential, Pepsi, Siemens, and Mass Mutual. He has
held various high level executive positions at Informix (acquired
by IBM) and Cambridge Technology Group. Mr. Yunus holds two Graduate
Degrees in Engineering from MIT and a BSME from Georgia Institute
of Technology.
He has been recognized by InfoWorld as one of 4 “Up and coming
CTOs to watch in 2004” and is a sought after speaker at industry
conferences such as RSA, Web Services Edge, Gartner, and Networld
+ Interop. He has been featured on CNBC as Terry Bradshaw’s “Pick

Anthony
Nadalin is IBM’s chief security architect. As
a Distinguished Engineer, he is responsible for security infra-structure
design and development across IBM, Tivoli and Lotus. He serves
as the primary security liaison to Sun Microsystems’ JavaSoft
Division for Java security design and development collaboration,
and to Microsoft for Web Services security design and development
collaboration. In his 21-year career with IBM, Anthony has covered
the following positions: lead security architect for VM/SP, security
architect for AS/400, and security architect for OS/2. Anthony
has authored and co-authored over thirty technical journal and
conference articles. Anthony has published two books on Java
Security and the Internet. Anthony has been on the technical
committee of three major scientific journals and one conference,
and has reviewed extensively work published by peers in the field.
He has given several presentations and invited speeches at numerous
technical security conferences. |

Melise
R. Blakeslee is a partner in the law firm of McDermott
Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. As
a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology
Department, Melise is the leader of the Firm’s Tech Transactions
and e-Business Group. She is admitted to the bars of New York
and Washington, D.C.
Melise’s practice is unique in that she has a transactional
practice focusing on information technology and the Internet as
well as an active litigation docket focusing on complex software
and copyright disputes.
Melise’s practice routinely bridges across a wide range
of complex IT and IP arrangements, including Multinational IT and
BPO outsourcing; and B2B, B2C and commodity exchanges.
In addition, she counsels internet-based businesses on issues
such as: consumer privacy, transaction authentication, content
licensing, electronic payment systems, advertising concerns and
e-business-related insurance issues.
Melise has 19 years of experience protecting and licensing IP
in many industry sectors, including software, advertising, art
and music. She leads the Firm's large-scale Internet policing
program on behalf of many famous brands.
Melise has chaired several conference panels and has been widely
quoted and has published several articles in widely distributed and
respected journals, magazines and other editions. |

Dr. Toufic Boubez is the CTO
of Layer 7 Technologies and a well-respected Web services visionary.
Prior to co-founding Layer 7 Technologies, Toufic was the Chief
Web Services Architect for IBM's Software Group and drove their
early XML and Web services strategies. He co-authored the original
UDDI API specification and participated on several standards bodies,
including the UN/CEFACT/OASIS ebXML initiative. He is a sought-after
presenter and has chaired many XML and Web services conferences.
In 2002, InfoWorld named Toufic to its “Ones to Watch” list.
An author of many publications, one of his most recent books is
the Building Web Services with Java: Making Sense of XML, SOAP,
WSDL, and UDDI. Toufic is also actively involved with various standards
organizations such as WS-I, and OASIS and co-author of the WS-Trust
and WS-SecureConversation specifications. He is also the co-editor
of the W3C WS-Policy specification. Toufic holds a Master of Electrical
Engineering degree from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical
Engineering from Rutgers University. |

In
his role as Chief Technology Officer at IONA, Eric Newcomer is
responsible for directing and communicating IONA's technology roadmap
and product strategy. Eric joined IONA in November 1999, after
nearly 16 years at Digital/Compaq, where he held a variety of technical
and management roles. He joined IONA as the company's transaction
processing architect, and also served as IONA's Vice President
of Engineering, Web Services Integration Products.
Eric leads IONA's participation in all standardization activities,
and has been involved in Web services standardization activities
from the beginning. He was a founding member of the XML Protocols
Working Group at W3C, which produced SOAP 1.2. He is also a former
editor of the Web Services Architecture specification at the W3C
and is IONA's primary representative to OASIS and WS-I. Eric is
co-author of the WS-Transactions set of specifications and co-chair
of the WS-TX technical committee at OASIS. He is also co-chair
of the Service Component Architecture (SCA) Policy Working Group
and a member of the Eclipse and ObjectWeb Boards.
A frequent speaker at industry and company events and contributor
to popular journals and Web sites, Eric is the author of the best-selling
Understanding Web Services (published in May 2002 by Addison-Wesley),
and co-author with Phil Bernstein of Principles of Transaction Processing
(published in January 1997 by Morgan Kaufman). His latest book, Understanding
SOA with Web Services, written with Greg Lomow, was published by
Addison Wesley in December 2004. |

Paul Lipton is
a Senior Architect in CA’s Office of the CTO where he specializes
in SOA, Web services, and emerging technologies. He has also participated
in many standards organizations such as OASIS and W3C, is a founding
member of the CA Council for Technical Excellence, a Microsoft MVP,
and a Sun Java Champion. Paul has also been an architect and developer
of enterprise systems for over 20 years. He is a highly sought-after
author and speaker, and has shared his knowledge with appreciative
audiences around the world covering such topics as Enterprise Architecture,
SOA, Web services, management/security, governance, Java, .NET, EAI,
and emerging technologies. |

Stephen
Gantz, CISSP-ISSAP, is a senior enterprise architect
with Pearson Blueprint Technologies, a software engineering and
architecture division of Pearson Government Solutions specializing
in enterprise modernization solutions for the federal civilian
and commercial markets. In his current role, he leads enterprise
architecture engagements for federal agencies seeking to establish
programs aligned with the Federal Enterprise Architecture. Mr.
Gantz has over 15 years’ experience in technology-related
professional services and software development, primarily as
an enterprise and security architect designing portal, e-commerce,
enterprise application integration, and security systems and
infrastructures.
Mr. Gantz’s industry expertise includes federal civilian,
DoD, and state government, financial services, insurance, retail,
telecommunications, and higher education. His areas of technical
expertise include security and enterprise systems architecture;
service-oriented architecture; business process modeling and analysis;
portal, content management, and related applications; enterprise
resource planning (ERP); middleware technologies; and data transport,
integration, and exchange. He is a regular speaker at industry
events on EA, enterprise application integration, security architecture
and risk assessment, XML, and content management.
Mr. Gantz is an adjunct professor in the Information and Telecommunications
Systems Department at the University of Maryland University College
Graduate School of Management and Technology. He is also a patent-holding
designer of XML-based content management systems to support enterprise
architecture activities. He holds a Masters Degree in technology
policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University,
as well as a Bachelors degree in applied mathematics and statistics
from Harvard. |

Eugene Kuznetsov is
noted as the pioneer in the SOA appliance category and a recognized
leader within the XML, Web services and SOA industries. Mr. Kuznetsov
founded DataPower in 1999 where he served for three years as president
and CTO, then as chairman and CTO until the IBM acquisition of
DataPower in October 2005. In recognition of his SOA Appliance
vision and leadership, Mr. Kuznetsov was named one of the "Top 25 Most Influential
CTOs" for 2005. He is a well regarded speaker at numerous conferences
and events including NetSec, JavaOne, Networld+Interop, NATO C3 Agency,
HPWorld, CIO Council XML.gov Working Group, Web Services DevCon,
MITRE XML Day, NECINA, Web Services Edge, Gartner's Application Integration
and Web Services Summit, and the IT Security & Privacy Conference.

Andrew Brown has
more than ten years of experience in developing and marketing enterprise
security solutions. In his role as AmberPoint’s Director of Product
Marketing, he works closely with AmberPoint’s hundreds of enterprise
customers and helps set the company’s product roadmap for SOA
security solutions. Prior to AmberPoint, Andrew was a co-founder
and Director of Strategic Marketing at Nanobiz, who built the industry’s
first Web services development platform. Andrew went on to serve
as Evangelist for the XML Web Services Security initiative at VeriSign,
where he drove the development of offerings for application security.
Andrew has also been a part of several security-related startups,
has participated in industry standards groups, such as WS-I, and
was a member of the Java Commerce group at Sun. |
