Andrew J. Berkuta is a Senior Security Evangelist / Strategist for McAfee, Inc., creators of best-of-breed computer security solutions that prevent intrusions on networks and protect computer systems from the next generation of blended attacks and threats. He consults regularly with executives and clients from a unique customer’s prospective, as well as speaks frequently on various security trends and techniques. Prior to joining the McAfee Security team, he was a security director in the mortgage industry, started 3 companies, a manager of a unique proof of concept lab, and has a diverse consulting background that spans more than 15 years.

Elisha Pulivarti is the Executive Director for Maryland- India Business Roundtable, Inc A public-private partnership of non-profit organization to promote trade, commerce and investment and business relationship between Maryland and Indian.

In the last 5 years, Mr. Pulivarti has been involved in the advocacy of consumer issues in the IT security marketplace and has been serving as a spokesman for some IT firms in India. Mr. Pulivarti served as the Executive Director for Governor’s Office on Asian Pacific American Affairs for the State of Maryland from 2003 - 2005.

Mr. Pulivarti attended University of Uppsala, Sweden. He earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree from Spicer Memorial College, India, affiliated to Andrews University, Michigan. He earned a Master of International Marketing from University of Bergen, Norway.

Mr. Pulivarti is the Founder-President of Washington Conference on World Religions and Peace, Special Advisor for the League of Korean Americans of Maryland, Director for Public Affairs and Religious Liberty for Southern Asian Community in Maryland, Vice-Chair of the Park and Recreation Advisory Board for Prince George’s County and Volunteer Helper for the Special Olympics in Maryland.

Mr. Pulivarti received an Outstanding Community Service Award from League of Korean Americans of Maryland in August 2003. He also received the Outstanding International Fellow Alumni of Spicer Memorial College, India in March 2004.

Melise R. Blakeslee is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office.   As a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, Melise is the leader of the Firm’s Tech Transactions and e-Business Group. She is admitted to the bars of New York and Washington, D.C.

Melise’s practice is unique in that she has a transactional practice focusing on information technology and the Internet as well as an active litigation docket focusing on complex software and copyright disputes.

Melise’s practice routinely bridges across a wide range of complex IT and IP arrangements, including Multinational IT and BPO outsourcing; and B2B, B2C and commodity exchanges.

In addition, she counsels internet-based businesses on issues such as: consumer privacy, transaction authentication, content licensing, electronic payment systems, advertising concerns and e-business-related insurance issues.

Melise has 19 years of experience protecting and licensing IP in many industry sectors, including software, advertising, art and music.  She leads the Firm's large-scale Internet policing program on behalf of many famous brands.

Melise has chaired several conference panels and has been widely quoted and has published several articles in widely distributed and respected journals, magazines and other editions.

Dr. Anton Chuvakinr is a recognized security expert and book author. In his current role as a Director of Product Management with LogLogic, a log management and intelligence company, he is involved with defining and executing a product vision and strategy, driving the product roadmap, conducting research, as well as assisting key customers with their LogLogic implementations. He blogs about security issues, log management, industry trends and computer tips.

Laura Taylor is Relevant Technologies' President and CEO. Her research has been used by the FDIC, the FBI, the IRS, various U.S. Federal Reserve Banks, U.S. Customs, the U.S. Treasury, the White House, and many publicly held Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Taylor specializes in security audits of financial institutions and U.S. federal agencies. She has provided information security consulting services to some of the largest financial institutions in the world including the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Treasury, the U.S. Government wide Accounting System, and National Westminster Bank - a division of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Ms. Taylor is the author of the FISMA Certification and Accreditation Handbook which is widely used resource on how to comply with the Federal Information Security Management Act.

Before founding Relevant Technologies, Ms. Taylor was Director of Security Research at TEC. Ms. Taylor also served as CIO of Schafer Corporation and Director of Information Security at Navisite. Earlier in her career, Ms. Taylor held various positions at Sun Microsystems where she was awarded several 'Outstanding Performance' awards, and a CIS Security Award. Most recently Ms. Taylor received an award from a division of the U.S. Financial Management Services commissioner for her assistance with FISMA compliant Security Certification & Accreditation of highly sensitive systems. Ms. Taylor is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Ms. Taylor has been featured in many media forums including ABC-TV Business Now, CNET Radio, Boston Business Journal, Computer World, and The Montreal Gazette. Her research has been published on numerous web portals and magazines including Business Security Advisor, Forbes, SecurityWatch, eSecurityOnline, SecurityFocus, NetworkStorageForum, ZDNet, Datamation, MidRangeComputing, and Securify. Ms. Taylor has authored over 500 research articles and papers on information security topics and has contributed to multiple books. A graduate of Skidmore College, Ms. Taylor is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the IEEE Standards Association, and the National Security Agency’s IATFF Forum.
