The 2008 IntrusionWorld Conference & Expo (2008 IntrusionWorld
event) is now accepting proposals for conference presentations/speakers
for the CONFERENCE to be held May
13-14, 2008 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore,
Maryland.
The 2008 IntrusionWorld event is the forum for business and
corporate executives, Industry and field practitioners, government,
legal and academic experts to present the state-of-the-art of
the practice, emerging intrusion prevention technologies, the
extension of enterprise network perimeter through wireless LAN
and the implications for wireless intrusion prevention systems.
Peer-to-peer groups will help us understand the trends and confront
the challenges inherent in today’s intrusion prevention
technologies, products, systems implementation and risk management.
Field practitioners will exchange best practices and lessons
learned. Participants will share ideas and expand business and
professional contacts during lunch roundtables, workshops, receptions
and other activities.

Note the following when submitting a presentation:
- Design your presentation as an educational experience, not
as a sales pitch.
- If you are a vendor, bring along a customer as an End-User
- Check your calendar before submitting a proposal to make
sure that you will be able to fulfill the obligation if you
are chosen.
- All abstracts are reviewed on the basis of applicability,
originality, conference needs and speaker qualifications. If
you are not advised of being selected for the 2008 IntrusionWorld
event, we will keep your abstract on file for future conferences.
- Completed proposals should be submitted by February15,
2008 to be considered by the conference organization.
