CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS/SPEAKERS

WSSC is now accepting proposals for conference presentations/speakers for the WSSC CONFERENCE to be held May 12-14, 2008 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, Maryland.

The 2008 WSSC is the forum for business and corporate executives, Industry, government, legal and academic experts that aim to present the state-of-the-art of the practice, emerging Web services security technologies and their application in secure Web services. Peer-to-peer groups will help us understand the trends and confront the challenges inherent in today’s Web services security technologies, products, and services. Field practitioners will exchange best practices and lessons learned. Participants will share ideas and expand business and professional contacts during lunch roundtables, workshops, receptions and other activities.

CONFERENCE TOPICS

In broad terms, all presentations must relate to the general conference theme: “SOA in the 21st century” in any of the following:

Note the following when submitting a presentation:

  • Design your presentation as an educational experience, not as a sales pitch.
  • If you are a vendor, bring along a customer as an End-User
  • Check your calendar before submitting a proposal to make sure that you will be able to fulfill the obligation if you are chosen.
  • All abstracts are reviewed on the basis of applicability, originality, conference needs and speaker qualifications. If you are not advised of being selected for the 2008 WSSC event, we will keep your abstract on file for future conferences.
  • Completed proposals should be submitted by February15, 2008 to be considered by the conference organization. Thank you for your interest.
